Cecelia: 6 months

Half a year?! Oh yes, this girl is growing! She is learning new things every day.

She has mastered rolling, so she has become much more content to be on her belly since she rarely gets stuck any more. I'm trying to work with her on sitting, but she's not quite ready for that yet! Her favorite thing to do is hang upside down off my lap. Crazy girl.

I sure hope they love each other this much forever! These boys just adore their sister.

Orion reading to Cecelia.

Des and Cece holding hands.

We finally made it to the doctor for her six month well visit. Here are the stats:

Weight: 13 lbs 3 oz (3rd percentile)
Height: 25.75 in (25th percentile)
Head: 14.96 in (30th percentile)
Sooo... she must have had a growth spurt around three months and then quit growing... :P My little peanut babies...

First time in her high chair.

Cecelia has started eating devouring solid food! She has loved everything (green beans, peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, yogurt) except avocado. It may have been a texture issue... I probably should have mashed it more thoroughly. She eats solids once or twice a day. She continues to nurse every two ish hours and gets one or two extra bottles a day. She's a good eater, no doubt!

Cece makes the cutest noises and faces. Today she keeps sticking out her tongue (I should have taken a picture) and it's so funny! I'm so pleased that she can stick it out so far since having her tongue tie fixed!

First time Christmas tree shopping. She counts it a success because she got a good nap.

Cecelia's first Christmas is in just 11 days! She likes to look at the lights and touch the tree. I'm curious to see how she'll react to the unwrapping of presents. My prediction: she will try to eat all the paper.
