Nathan lost 50 lbs as of March! Wow!! He had terrible heartburn that forced him to change the way he ate, and while it didn't seem like it at the time, it turned out to be a huge blessing. We also did The Whole30 eating plan together twice.
I turned 30!
Nathan took me on a surprise mini vacation for my birthday to Millersburg, Ohio (Amish Country). We had a wonderful, relaxing trip together.
We celebrated our collective 30th birthdays with our closest friends at our college, Spring Arbor University. We had a super fun Alice in Wonderland themed party.
Orion played soccer on a team for the first time. He did an especially good job as goal keep.
We went on a week-long vacation with our college friends. We had a great time in Pennsylvania and can't wait to do it again!
We vacationed with the Lambes family on beautiful Whidbey Island, Washington. We had a great time and would love to go back. Like... now.
I chopped off 12 inches of hair! Ahh, much better.
Orion turned six, Desy turned four, and Cece turned one. These crazies keep me on my toes, but I love 'em.
We continued homeschooling and joined a co-op. The kids love it!
We went to the Renaissance Festival and the Circleville Pumpkin Show with our friends, Ethan and Kelsey. Fun times!!
We found an awesome orchard and went apple picking twice, one with Nathan's parents, once with mine.
Nathan graduated from Liberty University with his Master's of Divinity!
The kids did a LOT of nature exploration this year and were particularly interested in caterpillars and butterflies. We also continue to meet up with our library friends weekly.
Nathan got a new job in Cincinnati as a Social Ministries Project Coordinator with the Salvation Army. It has been a good experience for him so far!
Our college friends came down to our house for our annual Hallogivingmas party! I'm so glad we have all been able to get together so often!
We went to opening night of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with friends. And then again a few days later with the boys and more friends. Because Star Wars.
We celebrated Christmas Eve in a power outage at home (we made the best of it!), Christmas morning with Nathan's family, and Christmas evening with my family. It was a whirlwind weekend, but it was a good one!
We got to ring in the new year with our college friends, as usual, in Michigan. I love these people so much.
2015 was another busy, full, exciting year! Goodbye 2015... hello 2016!
