Quick update

Orion is doing much better. His fever was gone when he got up this morning, so I'm very thankful. Hopefully his cold won't get much worse.

We found out a couple days ago that Nathan was not accepted into graduate school. I guess it just wasn't in God's plan. We're both bummed, but hopefully it'll be for the best.

He did finally get approved to be a substitute teacher at Valley View, so hopefully he can start working soon. As soon as his sub license comes in he can start turning in applications to other schools too.

My teeth hurt today.... ? Weird but true. Ow.

As for the weekly weight update:
Here are the stats:
Current weight: 129.4
Goal weight: 115
Weight lost this week: +1
Total weight lost: 10.6
Pounds left 'til goal: 14.4

Up a pound. Bummer. I'm honestly not surprised... I was pretty sure that 3 pounds last week was sort of a fluke. And it was my birthday week so I ate worse than normal. I'm going to start running again next week (after the musical is over and when my cold is gone). Hopefully that will get me back on track!

Ok, so I haven't been able to see your pictures for ages. But I'm finally on my sister's computer so I was able to catch up. Let's see if I can remember everything . . .

Love the red and gold walls! And way to be creative (and frugal) with the goodwill frames!

And I finally looked at Orion's professional pictures. So cute! I, of course, love anything that's black and white. My favorites were his feet in your hands. You have beautiful hands! And I love your hair, too. Do you curl it to look like that or does it curl naturally?

I'm glad Orion's feeling better. Here's hoping he starts to chubbify! Oh, that reminds me. I saw the picture of him drinking an Avent bottle. Do you like those? They're the ones I registered for.

Sadie, thanks! I'm glad you like my walls. I do too :)

Aw, thanks- I didn't know I had beautiful hands :) I don't do anything to my hair- I just let it air dry. Sometimes I put creme or lotion in it to cut down on friz, but that's pretty much it.

I do like the Avent bottles. They're what one of the families I nannied for used and I got them uber cheap at a garage sale. Once in a while they'll leak, but you just have to unscrew the top and readjust the nipple and they work fine. They just seem very sturdy and well made to me. I have the manual breast pump by Avent and the bottles fit with it which is really nice.

Poor Orion has a stuffy nose now- hope I don't have to suction it... he HATES that!

Your teeth could very well hurt b/c you have a cold... is your nose stuffy and is it your top teeth? Your sinuses are right by (sometimes through) the roots of your upper molars. :) Something I've learned along the way @ my job! :)
